Shadia teaches the basics of Middle Eastern Dance, incorporating the following styles: Tribal, Egyptian Cabaret, and American Style. Her classes emphasize technique and stage presence. Shadia has over 20 years of experience in dance and teaching, and is well known in the international dance community.

DESCRIPTION OF LEVELS:

LEVEL 1, Beginner:
A class designed to introduce new students to the fundamentals of Belly Dance. (Finger cymbals and veil required for this and all other levels; both on sale at our boutique.)

LEVEL 2, Intermediate:
At this level, students begin to perform studio choreographies. They will also learn how to interact as an ensemble. Students will be introduced to the concepts of performing in various venues, stage presence, and musical interpretation.

LEVEL 3, Advanced:
This class trains the student dancer in improvisation and advanced technique. It prepares the student for the more rigorous Level 4. This class combines dance conditioning with technique and choreography.

LEVEL 4, Professional:
A class for experienced dancers. Dancers are required to know all choreographies taught in previous levels. This class will also cover props, such as sword and cane. Dancers will be expected to solo, choreograph, and improvise.

Burlesque! All Levels
Saucy and sassy. Glittery and giggly. Fun and feathery. Babes and burlesque. What more can you ask for? Join Mahsati for an hour of fantasy, boas and glamour. Note: there is no stripping involved, just lots of feathers and rhinestones! There is no prerequisite for this class. Open to all levels.
